Started the soccer team analogy in August 2018 and I have kept to it until this March. Since then, I have merged my SaaS and Micro-cap portfolios with my main portfolio and started a new tier structure to view my counters. As it is no longer the framework I used to view my portfolio, I have also stop updating the team.

However, after seeing Dividend Tech Warrior shared his latest team, I am curious how would my team look like now? So I did a quick assemble and here’s how it appears.

Bench

CPF, AReit, MCT, TSCO, MSFT, ISRG, AEM

Other Players

CLCT, KDC, MLT, Venture, RMG, SGX, MELI, NFLX, CRWD, HUBS, VEEV, ZS

Comparing this with the team in March, not much has changed in the first 11 with the exception of OCBC replacing DBS in the midfield and UMS replacing Venture as left wing. Other changes include some of the youth players such as CRWD, HUBS, VEEV and ZS have been promoted to the senior team*.

While this is purely a fun exercise, I believe this structure will continue to influence me in my portfolio construction.

*The senior team makes up about 85% of my portfolio.
